In additon to all the uses a portable cd player has the ATRAC portable cd player can play back music on CD-R/CD-RWs(ATRAC CDs) created by the ATRAC3 plus/ATRAC3 which is an optimal compression system for music data.
With a PC and the supplied Sonicstage software, ATRAC CDs can be created simply and editing of titles group settings can be handled with ease.
The ATRAC3 plus/ATRAC3 system can write as many as 30 albums onto 1 CD(using the supplied software/one album estimated at 60 minutes, using 700mb CD-R/RW media at 48kbps)
Audio CD's or MP3 files on your hard disk can be compressed to the ATRAC3plus/ATRAC3 format and written to a CD-r/RW disc.
All kinds of editing such as title labelling or group settings is possible.
A maximum 0f 30* CD albums can be written onto 1 cd (*using the supplied software/one album estimated at 60 minutes, using 700mb CD-R/RW media at 48kbps)
